What are you going to do?
The main challenge of universities and companies is raising funding for their innovative projects. You as a business developer will discuss the project ideas and define the funding strategy for the short and long term. The funding options will be presented to client and you will negotiate the terms for closing the deal. You will work with universities and companies in the Netherlands, Europe and overseas. The main goal is to accelerate the development of their products.
You will identify new clients and conclude contracts with potential new customers who will purchase our services. In addition, you will maintain existing customer relationships. You identify new needs in the market and convert these to actions.
What skills are we looking for?
· Master or PhD background in life sciences is a must.
· Sales experience.
· A passion for innovation and wanting to help our customers to get their products to the market.
· A commercial mindset; energetic, persistent and enthusiastic.
· Affinity with both science and the commercial life sciences sectors.
· Customer-oriented and you want to build a broad knowledge in the field of life sciences within a commercial setting.
