How did you end up at Catalyze and what do you do in your daily work?
After completing my MSc. Biotechnology, I was looking for a job where I could combine my knowledge in biotechnology with innovation and business aspects. Catalyze turned out to be the perfect match. In my work, I use my knowledge gained from my studies to understand the scientific basis of new innovations. I then collaborate with our clients on how their innovations can be best developed, also from a commercial perspective. In my role as Associate Innovation Consultant Life Sciences, I help our clients obtain subsidies from European programs.
Can you describe how you have an impact on your clients in your daily work?
In my daily activities, I feel that I contribute significantly to the development process of ambitious and promising startups and spin-offs. We provide input on aspects the client may not have considered, or offer a completely different perspective based on our own experience and best practices, prompting the client to adjust the trajectory as needed. Ultimately, we also make a tangible contribution by securing substantial subsidies that allow the client to move forward.
Can you describe what you like about your team, your colleagues, the collaboration within and the culture of Catalyze?
What I like about my colleagues at Catalyze is that you can tell almost everyone is there for the same reasons: a strong interest in propelling promising innovations and making an impact on the future. This quickly aligns everyone, creating a good connection both professionally and socially. Furthermore, there is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone is always ready to help each other. Additionally, Catalyze has a flat organizational structure, and the lines of communication are very short.
What would you like to say to your future colleagues?
