How did you end up at Catalyze and what do you do?
During my last years in academia after finalising my PhD, I realized I wanted to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and bringing final products to the market/ patients. Currently, I am a Business Developer at Catalyze. In my role, I support companies and researchers on developing and defining strategies for fundraising. In addition, I discuss challenges they may face in the different phases of their product development and/or career and we try to look for solutions together.
Can you describe how you make an impact for your clients in your daily work?
In my role, I support clients to achieve impactful outcomes with their projects. Through collaborative efforts, I guide entrepreneurs, CEOs and academics in overcoming challenges and securing funding to propel their ventures forward and eventually create impact for patients and society.
Can you describe what you like about your team, your colleagues, the collaboration within and the culture of Catalyze?
I appreciate the synergy within our team. We are a multidisciplinary team between Business Developers and Consultants with highly motivated people and passionate about science, technologies and business. The team is very dynamic and there is a supportive work environment.
What would you like to say to your future colleagues?
I would like to highlight the enriching experience of being part of a dynamic team working towards making impact for our clients. Catalyze is giving me the opportunity to expand my network and work with amazing innovators. Also, Catalyze is led by a team of entrepreneurs who believe on the three following aspects: innovation thrives, collaboration is rewarded, and challenges are opportunities for growth. I strongly identify myself with these aspects.
