How did you end up at Catalyze and what do you do?
I am a Business Developer for the Life Sciences and Health department at Catalyze. I have a background in Health Science (VU Amsterdam) and Health Economics (Erasmus). After my studies, I worked for 3 years at a pharmaceutical scale-up in the Netherlands in various sales and management roles. Through word of mouth, I heard about Catalyze Group, and that’s when things started rolling!
Can you describe how you make an impact for your clients in your daily work?
What I enjoy about my job as a Business Developer is that I can make an impact for the clients in my portfolio (mostly startups) by being a sparring partner for them. Many of these startups have multiple projects in the pipeline at different stages of development. Together, we then seek the right strategy to finance their projects.
Can you describe what you like about your team, your colleagues, the collaboration within and the culture of Catalyze?
Catalyze has a very friendly atmosphere and culture. I collaborate with my team and other departments in a fun and open manner. Additionally, Catalyze organizes various activities, such as a beautiful ski trip, a summer event, and the Christmas party.
